Build 51Your cards on your Apple Watch
October 14, 2026
Apple Watch app
Your cards’ value, today’s price movers, your Wanted list and voice price checks, on your wrist and your watch face. It comes with Collector Pro and up.
Open in the appYour show on your wrist
Your running show’s sales, net profit, deals and time left, an offer calculator that follows your buy rates, and quick expenses.
Team deals tap your wrist
When someone on your team makes a deal, your watch taps you. You can turn the same alert on for a Manager on their page in Team.
How it worksThe full logo, every time
Coming back to CardBull from another app now shows the full-size logo, the same as when it first opens.
Real box pictures
Booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes and other sealed products show their real box picture.
Build 50More room for your pulls
October 13, 2026
Bigger cards in your recap
The pack recap at the end of your video gives your cards more room, right under what you paid and pulled.
How it worksYour totals as you go
While you record, Paid, Pulled and your profit sit at the top right of your screen, and cards are only scanned once you press record.
Build 49Tidier videos
October 13, 2026
Your pulls, lined up
In Record’s Drawer, your pulls sit in a neat row under the logo and your totals, with room for six, however many you open.
How it worksOnly real card pictures
The scanner’s drawer shows each card’s own picture, never your camera’s photo of it. Until it’s known, just its name.
Build 48A cleaner pack recap
October 13, 2026
Your recap, laid out
The end of your video shows what you paid, what you pulled and your profit in one panel, then your best cards, each with its price.
How it worksOnly real card pictures
Videos show the card’s own picture once its version is confirmed. Until then, just its name.
Build 47Did you hit?
October 13, 2026
Made or lost money?
In Record, tap Paid and type what your pack or box cost. The video starts below zero and climbs with every card, red until you’re ahead, then green.
How it worksShow your pulls your way
Tap Pulls: flash each card big with its name and price for as little as 0.2 seconds, line them up in a drawer, or show just the name and price.
A recap to finish
Every video ends with your pack recap: your best pulls first, what you paid, what you pulled, and your profit or loss.
Build 46Film your pack openings
October 13, 2026
Record your opening
Pick Record at the bottom of the scanner and tap the red button. The video shows your cards, your face in a bubble or split screen, and each card’s price as you pull it.
How it worksSaved and ready to post
Your video goes straight to Photos with the pack’s total on it. Tap Share to post it, or turn prices off to keep them to yourself.
Build 45A steadier scanner
October 12, 2026
No more closing on its own
Fixed the app sometimes closing as the scanner started or while it looked at a card.
Every card gets its click
In Continuous, each card you put down gets its sound and flash, Japanese cards included, even when you lay them down one after another.
Build 44Magic cards, and a scanner that learns
October 11, 2026
Magic: The Gathering cards
Point the camera at a Magic: The Gathering card and the scanner names it from its artwork, then picks the printing from its set code and number.
The scanner learns from you
Pick the right card when the scanner gets one wrong, and it remembers, so that card comes up right for everyone. Never your photos. You can turn it off.
Open in the appCard recognition locked in
The part of the app that recognises your cards is now sealed inside it, so it can’t be copied off your phone.
Case check follows more cards
Case check now follows up to 20 cards at once, so you can check a whole row of a case in one go.
Build 43Say hello to CardBull
October 10, 2026
A new name and icon
The app is now CardBull, with the bull on your Home Screen, in the Share menu and on your Lock Screen. Your cards, deals and account are all still here.
A sharper opening
The bull at the start is crisper on every screen size.
Japanese cards spotted live
Point the camera at a Japanese card whose artwork also exists in English, and the scanner now picks the Japanese printing.
Build 42Scan from the first minute
October 10, 2026
Ready to scan right away
Card recognition comes with the app, so a new phone can name cards almost as soon as it opens, with no long wait first.
Smaller cards found
The scanner now finds cards that are smaller in the picture, so you can hold the phone further back.
Small print read better
For small cards, the set and card number are read more clearly, so the right printing is picked more often.
Today's price in deals
A card you add to a deal uses today's price, and the deal shows a small "Today's price" line under it. It never uses up your price lookups.
Build 41Snap waits for your shutter press
October 9, 2026
Snap like a camera
In Snap, line up your card and press the shutter: the sound, flash and price come right then. Want it to snap by itself? Turn on Auto-snap in Settings.
More cards named at a glance
More cards are named straight away, including cards in sleeves, and swapping one card for the next is quicker.
Easier card checks
Check your cards keeps your cards when you go back, turns a confirmed card green, and shows a bigger picture. The screen stays on while you scan.
Tidier scanner drawer
Each card in the scanner drawer has a ✕ to remove it and its price across the bottom.
Bigger price refresh
Refresh prices now updates up to 3,000 cards at once.
Build 40Scan answers the moment you hold up a card
October 9, 2026
The card on screen at once
Hold a card up and its name and picture show the moment it is recognised, then its exact printing and price follow right behind.
One steady frame
A card-shaped frame stays put in the middle of the screen. Hold the card inside it and only that card is scanned.
Checked before it counts
A card is added only once its printing is confirmed, and a price shows only for that exact card.
Build 39Continuous scan keeps up with you
October 9, 2026
The next card right away
Continuous scan looks for the next card the moment one is in the drawer, even when you lay it where the last one was.
The whole card in every picture
Drawer and review pictures show the entire card, upright, edges and all.
Japanese cards stay Japanese
A card is settled by the number and language printed on it before it goes in, never by a twin in another language.
Build 38A steadier, quieter scanner
October 9, 2026
The box is always the whole card
The green box keeps a card’s shape and size even when glare or a thumb hides part of the card.
The camera comes back by itself
Switch to another app, take a call or lock the phone: the scanner is running again when you return, with everything you scanned still there.
Drawer pictures as the card lies
A Continuous tile shows the whole card, straightened, cut out along the outline the camera found.
The card’s own words decide the printing
A card whose artwork is printed in several languages is settled by the number and language printed on it, never by its twin.
Build 36Cards recognised at a glance
October 9, 2026
Recognised from the picture, faster
The scanner now knows most cards from their picture alone, even hand-held, in a sleeve, or shown on a screen, and says so at once.
Confirm the printing before the price
A card known only by its picture shows its name and asks you to confirm the printing. The price appears once the card’s own words settle it, or when you tap the printing.
More sets recognised
Shiny Vault, the Trainer Galleries, the Galarian Gallery, Shining Legends, Dragon Majesty and more are recognised from their pictures now.
Only the card in the middle
The scanner takes the card between the corner marks and leaves the rest of the table alone. Once a card is done, the next one you hold up is taken straight away.
Nothing to hold still for
A card is read from the clearest of its last few frames the moment it is in view; a blurred frame is simply tried again.
Build 35Scan: Snap or Continuous
October 8, 2026
One Scan, two ways
Scan replaces Single and Rapid. Snap shows one card with its price; tap the pill at the top for Continuous, and each card drops into the drawer.
How it worksNo more holding still
The scanner names a card as soon as it is sure, even a slightly blurred one. Four small corner marks show where to hold it.
The box fits the card
The green box is the size of the card itself, even when you hold it at an angle, and no longer jumps to a bigger shape behind it.
Close any scanner pop-up
Every message on the scanner has an X, and you can swipe it down to go back to the camera.
Build 34A steadier, quicker scanner
October 9, 2026
The box keeps its shape
The green box is a card-shaped rectangle now. It stays that shape, sits on the card and only grows or shrinks a little as you move.
The box keeps up
The scanner looks at every frame the camera gives, so the box follows a moving card more closely.
Read sooner after you stop
A card counts as held still a little sooner, so the name and price come sooner after your hand stops.
Build 33Safer sign-in, quicker addresses
October 8, 2026
Safer sign-in
An emailed code now makes a new account yours and signs out anyone else, and a stranger’s wrong guesses can’t lock you out.
See where you’re signed in
Settings shows every phone and computer signed in to your account. Sign one out, or all the others at once.
One tap fills the address
Pick an address from the suggestions and the street, city, state and ZIP fill in together.
A tidier deal screen
The customer section folds to one line until you need it, so more of the deal fits on screen.
Put back yesterday’s copy
With a team, a copy of your business is kept each day for 30 days. Put one back from Settings > Team.
Build 32One scanner, with modes
October 7, 2026
Pick a mode at the bottom of the scanner
Single, Rapid, Bulk and Case check are one camera now. Tap a mode at the bottom; the scanner opens on the one you used last.
Snap: the picture takes itself
In Single mode, hold a card still and the scanner takes its picture, with a shutter sound, a flash and a buzz. Turn each off in Settings > Card scanner.
Price check
Scan a card to see its price and how it has moved, right on the scanner. Nothing is added unless you tap Add.
Team logins
Invite the people who help at your table. Each signs in as themselves; you choose what they see, and which deals need your OK.
How it worksVerify a slab in the app
Check a graded slab’s cert without leaving the app, see the grade and photos, and add it with its graded price.
How it works
Build 31The scanner finds cards faster
October 3, 2026
Cards found the moment you hold them up
Point the camera at a card, in your hand or on the table, and the scanner outlines it right away.
Quicker with several cards too
Scanning several cards at once, and Case check, find each card the same quick way.
Build 30eBay sold prices open in the eBay app
October 2, 2026
eBay sold prices, in the eBay app
Tap “eBay sold” on a card and it opens in the eBay app when you have it. Without the app it opens in Safari.
The invite card stays closed
Close the invite card and it stays away for a month. Your invite link is always in Settings.
Build 29Sign up with a passkey, sign in with a code
October 2, 2026
Create an account without a password
Choose “Sign up with a passkey instead” when you create an account: confirm your email, then sign in with Face ID or Touch ID from then on.
Can’t sign in? Get a code by email
On the log in screen, tap “Can’t sign in? Email me a code”. We email a 6-digit code that signs you in.
Card numbers find every match
Searching a number like “001/100” shows the English cards and the Japanese ones together, and says so if the catalog couldn’t be reached.
Build 28Sign in with a passkey
October 2, 2026
Sign in with a passkey
Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID instead of your password. The app offers to set one up after you sign in; add or remove passkeys in Settings.
Shiny cards catch the light, big and small
Tilt the phone and a shiny card’s picture catches the light, in your collection and when you open the picture big. Plain cards stay plain.
Retake one card, not the whole photo
In a Bulk Scan review, Retake photo opens a one-card camera and replaces just that card. Rapid scan no longer counts a card twice.
Build 27Shiny cards, steadier counts, one-press scanning
October 1, 2026
Shiny cards read better, and no double counts
When a reflection hides a card’s name or number, the screen asks you to tilt the phone a little; a card you lift and put back isn’t counted twice.
One press to scan, and a running count
Put “Scan a card” on the Action button or in Control Center to open the scanner at once. In Rapid scan, the number of cards in the drawer shows at the top of the screen.
The light comes on by itself
In a dark hall the scanner turns the phone’s light on for you, and off again when there’s enough light. Tap the Light button to choose Auto, On or Off.
Slab labels read in Rapid scan
Scanning graded cards, the label’s barcode fills in the cert number for you, so you don’t have to leave the camera to check it.
Find your cards from your phone’s search
Swipe down on your home screen and type a card’s name: your own cards show up, and a tap opens one in the app. Names, sets and numbers only, never prices.
Your own card photos come out clean
A picture you take of a card is trimmed to just the card, straightened, with its corners, instead of a slice of the table around it.
Build 26Opens on iOS 16 and 17 again
October 1, 2026
Fixed: a crash at launch on iOS 16 and 17
On iPhones that aren’t on iOS 18 or later the app crashed as it started. It opens normally now.
Smoother boxes in live scanning
In Case check (Live) and Scan several, the boxes move smoothly and keep up with your hand.
Build 25Smoother boxes
October 1, 2026
Boxes keep up with your hand
In Case check (Live) and Scan several, the boxes move more smoothly as you move the phone.
A smoother camera picture, coming
The camera picture itself can be smoother too. It stays as it is until we’ve tested it on a real case.
Build 24Steadier boxes while you move
October 1, 2026
Boxes stay on the cards while the camera moves
In Case check (Live) and Scan several, every box moves with the camera, so they no longer trail or jump as your hand moves.
Boxes stay put on more surfaces
With Keep boxes on the cards on, boxes stay put on a table, a binder held up, a wall display or a tilted lid, and on small or moving cards.
Smoother, too
Boxes that stay on their cards follow them more smoothly than before.
Build 23Boxes that stay put
October 1, 2026
Boxes stay on the cards
In Case check (Live) and Scan several, a box stays on its card when you look away and back, and keeps its colour. Settings › Card scanner › Keep boxes on the cards.
The camera tells a card from everything else
On newer Pro iPhones, tokens, stickers and the case itself never get a box, and two cards touching are split into two.
How much closer, in inches
Instead of “move closer”, the screen says about how far: “Move about 4 inches closer”.
Nothing else changes
Every iPhone can keep boxes on the cards. Where it can’t, the camera works exactly as before; the shutter and Photo stay.
Build 22Point the camera: cards are recognised as you hold them up
October 1, 2026
Recognised sooner
The live scanners know a card almost as soon as they see it, your Wanted cards first. Pokémon so far; other games are recognised as before.
Scan several cards, live
Point the camera at a few cards: each drops into a tray at the side as it’s recognised. Then “Add to inventory”, or “Review” to check and remove any.
Steadier boxes
A box shows only once the camera is sure it’s looking at a card, so there are far fewer stray boxes.
Take a picture whenever you like
The shutter, the Photo button and Bulk Scan are where they were, and the live screens offer “Take a picture instead”.
Build 21Case check: green means a card, and it’s quicker
October 1, 2026
Green only for a card it knows
A box turns green only once the card is identified. Something that isn’t a card (a keyboard, a book) goes dim and isn’t counted.
Reads sooner
A card is read about a second after it’s in view and roughly still, instead of several.
One box per card
A card’s own text box or art frame no longer gets a box of its own, and nothing as big as a laptop counts as a card.
Build 20Case check finds the cards, and remembers the ones it has read
October 1, 2026
Boxes on the cards, at last
The live scanners were skipping cards; now every card in view gets its box, in Case check and when scanning one card.
Read once, stays green
A card the camera has read stays green as you back away, and when it comes back into view it’s known again at once.
Help for the ones that need it
“Move closer to the white boxes” while any card in view is unread, “All read. Keep sweeping.” when they’re all green, and a count in the corner: 7 read · 2 to go.
A likely match for small cards
With “Recognise cards faster” on, a card too small to read gets a dashed box and “Likely …” when the scanner has a good guess. Never counted until read.
Build 19Case check shows what it sees
October 1, 2026
A box on every card the camera sees
In Case check (Live), every card-shaped thing in view gets a white box as soon as the camera sees it, green once it’s read, gold when it’s on your Wanted list.
Paused is now said out loud
If the camera stops looking after a while with no cards in front of it, the screen says so; tap to start again.
Japanese cards in a case
Japanese cards are recognised in a case too, as in the single-card scanner.
Build 18The scanner is back to the close hold, with a lens you can choose
October 1, 2026
Hold the card close again
Hold a card about 6 inches away, as before. The picture never jumps or zooms by itself.
Choose the camera lens
Settings → Card scanner → Camera lens: automatic by task (recommended), always close-up, always the main lens, or let the phone switch. Try them and tell us.
Open in the appCheck a case from farther back
Stand back from a case and the many small cards in view still read.
Build 17A steadier scanner, and share a picture to scan it
October 1, 2026
The scanner holds still
The picture no longer jumps or zooms by itself when you move the phone. Hold the card in the box, a little farther away than before.
Share a picture to scan it
In Photos, tap Share, then CardBull: the app opens and reads the card in the picture. Share several and the rest wait in your saved scans.
Card shows
Find upcoming card shows for the next three months, with the place, hours and directions.
How it works
Build 16Check a whole case at once, and find a card show
October 1, 2026
Check a case against your Wanted list
Sweep the camera along a case: every card it reads gets a green box, and a gold one when it’s on your Wanted list.
Recognise cards faster (beta)
Settings → Card scanner: turn it on and, when the scanner isn’t sure, it says what the card looks like. You tap to confirm.
Card shows
Find upcoming card shows for the next three months, with the place, hours and directions. Know one that’s missing? Add it.
How it worksFewer questions when you add a card
“Always ask what I paid” is off until you turn it on in Settings. Type a cost once and the app asks if you’d like it every time.
Build 15Point and scan: the camera locks onto a card and reads it
October 1, 2026
Live scan
Point the scanner at a card: a green box locks onto it, and its name and price appear as soon as you hold still. No button to press.
How it worksChoose what you use
Settings → Features: turn off what you don’t use and the app gets simpler. Nothing is deleted; turn it back on any time.
Search any card from anywhere
The magnifier at the top of every screen finds your own cards first, then any card, with its price.
Build 14Bring your Holodex collection, and a tidier Lock Screen
September 30, 2026
Bring your Holodex collection
Settings → Data → Import, pick Holodex and upload its export: sets, printings, conditions, what you paid and the date added come over. Undo import takes it back out.
How it worksYour clock stays in sight
While a show runs, the pill at the top shows just the logo and the timer, so your clock stays beside it. Press it for the show’s name.
Nothing shows in the app switcher
Swipe up to switch apps and you see only the logo, never your numbers.
Invite links open the app
Tap an invite or referral link on a phone with the app, and the sign-up opens right in the app.
Build 13Your phone as a scanner, notifications, and places as you type
September 30, 2026
Use your phone as a scanner
Open a deal in the web app, then tap Scanner mode on your phone: each card you scan drops into the deal on your computer. The phone shows no prices.
How it worksNotifications on your Lock Screen
Reminders come even when the app is closed. Choose which ones in Settings → Notifications.
How it worksBulk Scan on every plan
Collector now has Bulk Scan too: one photo of 8–10 cards on a table, checked and added all at once.
How it worksPlaces as you type
A show’s Location, and your home city in Settings → Your business, suggest places as you type. Pick one, and the running show gets a Directions button for your maps app.
How it works
Build 12A free plan for collectors, one search box, and Help for your plan
September 29, 2026
Start right away
A new account is ready at once. Confirm your email with the code we send any time in the first 7 days: tap Enter code on the banner.
How it worksA free plan for collectors
Collector is free: up to 500 cards and 25 AI checks a month. One of four plans: two for collectors, two for vendors.
See the plansOne search box for every card
Cards, sets and sealed products, English or Japanese, in one box: type a set like “abyss eye” or a box like “surging sparks etb”. Add “jp” for Japanese Pokémon.
How it worksHelp for your plan
Help in Settings shows what your plan has, in plain words, with a Show me button that walks you through it.
Where to find itYou decide about AI checks
Before the first AI check, the app asks before it sends a card’s photo. Change your answer any time in Settings.
How it worksFixes arrive by themselves
Small fixes now come without a new download. Settings → About → Version & updates shows your version and checks for a newer one.
Open in the app
Build 11.5Report a problem right from the app, and alerts from the bell
September 29, 2026
Report a problem in the app
Report a problem and Contact support (Settings → Help) send your message straight to us, no email needed.
How it worksAlerts drop down from the bell
Tap the bell and your alerts drop down over the screen you’re on. On an iPad or computer they open right under it.
How it worksWhere prices come from
Tap the ⓘ beside Market price to see where prices come from. Settings → About has Data sources & credits, the Privacy Policy and the Terms.
How it worksSet logos and whole card pictures
Sets you have no cards from show their logo (Pokémon) or symbol (Magic), and card pictures show whole, never cropped.
How it worksCard tiles on a phone
In your cards, the grid button now shows each card as a tile with its picture, name, condition and value.
Summary is easier to tap
The Summary button next to Finalize is a little wider, and pages that get shorter (like clearing a deal) keep what’s left on screen.
Build 11.4Check comps in one tap, and Finalize next to Summary
September 29, 2026
eBay and TCGplayer on cards you take in
Every card you’re taking in has eBay sold and TCGplayer buttons, so you can check what it really sells for in one tap.
Summary next to Finalize
The customer Summary now sits right next to the green button at the bottom of a deal, which is now called Finalize.
Choose how far + and – move
Pick how much + and – change a percentage (1% to start) in Settings. It works the same with price tiers on.
A cleaner look
A slightly darker page so cards stand out, a backdrop behind the clock when you scroll, and one eye button that stays out of the way.
Build 11.2Help in the app, and End time and Booth on every show
September 29, 2026
A new Lock Screen card
The app’s logo, your show’s name, hours, booth and a countdown, with Scan and New deal buttons. No money on it, and it’s light or dark like the app.
How it worksEnd time and Booth on every show
A new show’s end time is filled in for you (clear it to leave the show open), and each show keeps its own booth number.
How it worksGreen boxes in your sets
In a set, the cards you own sit in a light green box. A count like “Have 2” shows only when you have 2 or more.
How it worksHelp, what’s new and tours
Help, what’s new and tours are now in Settings. Search how to do something, or tap Show me and the app walks you through it.
Where to find it
Build 11Your collection and your show, at a glance
September 29, 2026
Your collection at a glance
Tap the summary card at the top of Inventory to see value by game and set, your biggest winners and losers, and cards that need a cost.
How it worksYour show on the Lock Screen
On iPhone, turn on Show on Lock Screen and a running show sits on your Lock Screen and at the top of the screen, with the time left.
How it worksSiri & Shortcuts
Say “Scan cards” or “Start a show” to Siri to jump straight there. There’s nothing to set up.
What to sayAn end time for your show
Set when you plan to close a show. It still runs until you tap End show.
How it works
Build 10Faster deals at the table
September 29, 2026
Price tiers
Pay a different % by what a card is worth, like 85% over $100, plus one flat price for bulk.
How it worksCash or trade, side by side
See what their cards are worth in cash and in trade credit at the same time. Tap the one they pick.
How it worksType the total, or even it out
Tap a side’s total to type the number the customer wants. A lopsided trade shows what evens it out.
How it worksPark a deal, show the customer
Park a deal to help the next person, then pick it up later. Show customer turns the screen into big, clean numbers.
How it worksScan into the deal, and QR price stickers
On iPhone and iPad the camera stays open and each card lands on the right side. Print QR stickers, then scan one to add that card at its price.
How it worksAlso new
Customer wants with the real card and its picture, the eye button where you want it, the camera at 1x with a light, and a new floating tab bar.
