All help topics

  1. In the iPhone app, in Inventory, tap +: the scanner opens.
  2. Hold the card up, about 6 inches (16 cm) away, inside the frame in the middle of the screen, and press the shutter.
  3. Its name, set and price show above the controls. Check it’s your card, then tap Add.
  4. Tap the card for its printings, the condition (NM ▾) and its price history. Choose means pick the printing you have.
  5. Then hold up the next card: the camera is still looking.

Continuous

Scanning a stack? Tap the Snap / Continuous switch next to Photo at the bottom to switch to Continuous. Each card the phone recognises drops into the drawer under the frame, and the camera is ready for the next one; there’s no shutter to press. The scanner remembers which you picked.

  1. Hold up one card at a time in the middle of the screen. Once the phone is sure of it, its picture drops into the drawer. Then the next.
  2. A faded picture is a card the phone couldn’t name. It gets one AI check by itself, unless you turned that off in Settings.
  3. Done? Tap Add, or Review to check the list first.

Nothing is added until you say so. A card known only by its picture shows no price until its printing is confirmed; the review asks you which it is. On Collector, Continuous adds up to 30 cards a month.

  • Dark hall? Tap Light next to the shutter.
  • Blurry? Tap the picture to focus again.
  • Wrong card? Tap the card, then Check with AI, or Search to find it by name.
  • Nothing matches? Tap Details, then Custom to add it with your own value.

On the vendor plans:

In a deal, tap Scan card: it works the same way, and each card goes into the deal.

The web app has no live camera: tap Choose a card photo and pick a clear photo of one card instead.
