Scanning with no signal

With no signal the scanner can’t look cards up. It saves each picture under “Waiting for signal” to look up later.

Show halls often have poor signal. When the scanner can’t reach the card catalogs, it saves the scan instead of failing.

  1. Take the pictures as usual. The app can’t tell which card it is yet, so it saves each picture.
  2. When signal comes back, the app looks the cards up by itself.
  3. The bell says when they’re ready. Open Waiting for signal, check each card and add it.
  • Each card goes where it was headed when you scanned it.
  • The list stays on this device. It doesn’t sync.
  • Your cards (and your deals and shows, when you sell) work with no signal and sync later.
