  1. On your computer, open Deal in the web app and turn on Phone scanner. In a trade, pick your side or Customer gives.
  2. On your phone, in Deal, tap Scanner mode, then Start scanner mode.
  3. Scan each card. The phone says Sent ✓, and the card shows up in the deal on your computer with its price.
  4. To stop, tap Exit on the phone and use Face ID or your passcode.
  • The phone shows only the camera and each card’s picture and name. It never shows prices, costs, customers or totals, so it can face the customer.
  • No signal? The phone keeps your scans (Queued (3)) and sends them as soon as it’s back online.
  • Not sure which printing? The computer asks you to pick it.
  • Wrong card? Click Undo next to it on the computer.
  • Scans the computer doesn’t pick up within 30 minutes are cleared.

To lock the phone to the app completely, turn on Guided Access in the phone’s Settings under Accessibility, then triple-click the side button while in Scanner mode.
