A passkey signs you in with Face ID or Touch ID. There’s nothing to remember, and a passkey made on one of your devices works on the others signed in to the same Apple or Google account.
Add a passkey
- Open Settings → Account → Your account and tap Passkeys.
- Tap Add a passkey and confirm with Face ID or Touch ID.
- Next time, tap Sign in with a passkey on the log in screen.
Sign up without a password
When you create an account, choose Sign up with a passkey instead. Confirm your email with the 6-digit code we send, then add your passkey.
Can’t sign in?
On the log in screen, tap Can’t sign in? Email me a code. We email a 6-digit code to your account’s address; enter it to sign in. The code works once and lasts 15 minutes.
